Welcome to Anna Mae Soaps.  Natural handmade lye soaps that leave your skin grateful that you didn't use a commercial bar.  Each bar still has it's original glycerin to soften and moisturize your skin.  Our soaps are handmade using a cold process in small batches which will cause a slight variation in color, size and shape of each bar.    Ours soaps start with lye, Texas rainwater, coconut oil, olive oil and natural soybean shortening.  Herbs and essential oils are added to create unique varieties.  

Anna Mae Soaps was started with the idea of making soaps that were simpler and gentler to the skin.  Commercial soaps tend to be very drying and harsh.  After reading the ingredient list of commercial soap, it's no wonder why so many people have adverse reactions to commercial soaps.  With all the numerous ingredients in commercial soap, it's also hard to narrow down the ingredient or ingredients causing the reaction.  Unlike commercial soaps, our soaps do not contain detergents or petroleum products.  Our soaps have an excellent lather, rinse clean and are gentle to the skin.

All of our soaps have been tested on families, friends and neighbors.
